God is the source

con路fi路dence

/藞k盲nf蓹d(蓹)ns/

noun

A feeling of self-assurance arising from one's appreciation of one's own abilities or qualities.

God路fi路dence

/鈥淕odf蓹d(蓹)ns/

noun

A deep and unwavering trust in God, while relying on His divine guidance, strength, and faith to navigate through challenges and pursue one's goals and aspirations. It gives individuals a sense of assurance, courage, and belief in their abilities, all while in alignment with his will.

The main difference between "Godfidence" and "confidence" lies in the source of trust and belief.

God is the ultimate source of many things in our lives, including strength, guidance, and confidence, to name a few.

Proverbs 3:5-6 states, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." These verses encourage individuals to place their trust in God, acknowledging that relying solely on their own understanding may not lead to the best outcomes.

Isaiah 40:31 says, "But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." This verse suggests that those who place their hope and trust in the Lord will find their strength renewed.

Divine intervention and guidance from God are integral to achieving a sense of assurance and strength that cannot be obtained without a connection to the Lord. It acknowledges that human capabilities and self-belief are important, but they are enhanced and supported by trusting in God's involvement in one's life.

God is the source!

Discerning ego from Godfidence

Discerning ego from Godfidence helps us live a life that is more aligned with God's will. It allows us to experience truly walking in our purpose and the peace that comes from walking in harmony with God.

Here are some ways your can discern ego from Godfidence:

Alignment with God's will: Godfidence is characterized by a deep trust and reliance on God's guidance and will. It involves surrendering personal desires and ambitions to align with God's plan. Ego, on the other hand, tends to prioritize self-interest and personal agendas over God's will.

Humility and acknowledgment of God's power: Godfidence recognizes that true strength and success come from God. Ego, in contrast, tends to take credit for accomplishments and can foster a sense of self-importance.

Fruits of the Spirit: Godfidence is accompanied by the fruits of the Spirit, such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). It promotes virtues that reflect God's character. Ego, however, often leads to pride, selfishness, and a lack of consideration for others.

Seeking God's will, acknowledging His power, and cultivating humility and service rather than succumbing to ego-driven tendencies will help you grow spiritually, inspire those around you, walk in your purpose, and experience so much more.

Remember, discerning ego from Godfidence is a continuous process that requires self-reflection, prayer, and a willingness to align your heart and actions with God's will.
